After his 100 m feat on Sunday evening, Usain Bolt took the title and the record in the 200 m yesterday.
Dominant throughout the race, "Ligthning Bolt" finished a length ahead of his rivals and broke his own record, with 19.19s, on the eve of his 23rd birthday.
Just as in Beijing in 2008, the Berlin season looks exceptional for Jamaican athletics: besides Bolt's records, two Jamaican women climbed onto the podium in the 100 m hurdles on Wednesday evening (Brigitte Foster-Hylton won the title, becoming the first Jamaican woman to win this event, while her compatriot Delloreen Ennis-London finished third) and in the 400 m hurdles yesterday, Melanie Walker took gold.
