Lexxus, a.k.a. Mr Lex, was arrested and accused of rape on Friday in New York.
His manager, who confirms the news, says that a woman has filed a complaint against the artist over a rape that allegedly took place the day before in a hotel in Queens.
Lexxus has, however, been released on bail and must remain there to appear in court on 2 November.
