It has been a long time since we last heard of him: Hawkeye, the sturdy deejay who was part of the Main Street stable in the 90s, is back. After a first album in 2002, "Bubble and wine", this former cook, discovered in General Degree's Bodyguard video, returns with a 100% one-drop opus.
Titled "Haw Extra", it features productions by Sly & Robbie and Shane Brown (the track Damn on the Indiscretion Riddim). The stated aim: to make a cultural album, touching on social issues, denouncing violence and respecting women. A different side of the deejay, to be discovered in the first quarter of 2010.
