Jimmy Cliff is part of the next class to be welcomed into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

Intended to honour the great figures of music who have marked its history in the United States, this induction is highly coveted.
Considering that he helped make reggae known throughout the world, Jimmy Cliff will be officially inducted on 15 March, at a ceremony in New York, broadcast on television. He is the second Jamaican artist to receive this honour, after Bob Marley, inducted in 1993.
