It is now a classic date on the dub scene in the south of France: the eighth edition of the Southern Dub Convention will take place on 5 February 2010 at La Victoria, near Montpellier.
2010 will start with a bang for dub fans, as we are about to witness an unprecedented meeting. For the first time, Blackboard Jungle (residents of the Dub Station in Paris), OBF (Original Bass Foundation), residents of Dubquake in Geneva, and of course Lion Roots Sound System, residents of the Southern Dub Convention, will come face to face. Mark Irration remembers them well, having suffered the torments of the damned at the last University of Dub in London in May 2009.
Blackboard Jungle will come with Anthony John, while Lion Roots will be accompanied by Kenny Knots. All on a 30kW sound system.
