Led by the singer Barrington Levy, the brand-new Black Roses sound system (not to be confused with the dancers of the Black Roses crew) will warm up the crowd at the annual Death before dishonour clash, taking place on Easter Monday in Montego Bay.

Formed 8 months ago by Dj Nerro, Barrington Levy's son, the sound was first christened Mystic, before being taken in hand by dad Levy and named after one of his famous songs.
Made up of three members, not counting Barrington Levy, the sound will make its international debut as an opening act for the Jamaican World Clash, among the local sound systems showcased by Irish and Chin, the organiser of the event.
Mighty Crown, Bass Odyssey, Black Kat, Tony Matterhorn, Sentinel and Bredda Hype will face off this year in the premier competition.
