The Sorcerer Lee "Scratch" Perry is back in France, where he will celebrate his birthday (74) in Paris. A birthday that will be celebrated almost en famille, alongside two of his favourite artists: the Congos, with whom he made his masterpiece "Heart of the Congos", and Max Romeo, who told us in an interview that he is "one of the only reggae artists Perry still respects", after the "betrayal" by Marley.

Adrian Sherwood, boss of the On U Sound label and a figure of the London dub scene, completes this fine line-up. All of them will be together on the stage of the Elysée Montmartre on 20 March. There we will be able to discover the Upsetter's new album, coming soon to the shops.
It is probably no coincidence that the Congos have also put the finishing touches to their new album, "Back in the Black Ark", recorded with Lee Perry at Mixing Lab.
