Urgent: Bushman will not be performing tonight
on Thursday, April 01st 2010 - 8 770 views
It is with great regret that we have just learned that the singer Bushman, due to perform tonight at the Cabaret Sauvage, will not be able to appear. We are very sorry.
The artist missed the last plane that would have got him from Kingston in time. It has to be said that the negotiation with the manager of his European tour was very difficult, with several contract adjustments requested at the last minute. Bushman was therefore informed of the arrangements for his trip at the very last moment, which explains this setback.
Given that Pressure and I-Wayne will indeed be there and that we are not in a position to refund tickets, it seemed more honest to us to announce this bad news before the event.
We have looked for the best replacement for Bushman, despite extremely tight deadlines. We are offering you Chukki Starr in his place, the English deejay with conscious lyrics who has just released an anthology of his best tracks on Greensleeves.
We are well aware that this last-minute solution will not satisfy everyone, which is why we renew our sincere apologies.
In brief...
