A fine page of Beres Hammond's discography is about to be reissued by the American label VP.

Produced by Joe Gibbs, the singer's 2nd album will be available again on 1 June in a remastered version. This rarity, titled "Just a man", reveals a little-known side of the timeless crooner, that of his real beginnings as a solo singer in 1979, the very year he left the group Zap Pow.
A vintage flavour permeates these 10 tracks with soul, rhythm and blues and even disco influences, among which you will find, in addition to the original tracklist, the track Set me free, previously unreleased on album.
