The recent cancellations of American visas for several Jamaican artists are starting to cause serious problems.

A quick reminder: in early April, the American embassy in Kingston ordered airlines to refuse boarding on flights to the United States to Bounty Killer, Beenie Man, Mavado, Aidonia and Ricky Trooper. To this day, the precise reasons are still unknown.
The problem is that they were all due to perform at the annual Best of the best festival on 30 May in Miami.
If you add to this list those banned long ago, such as Vybz Kartel, Sizzla, Luciano, I-Octane, Jah Cure and probably Tony Matterhorn, the equation becomes really complicated.
Another illustration: not to mention Buju Banton, Beenie Man, Vybz Kartel, Mavado, Luciano and Jah Cure, who were nominated at the Irawma Awards, were unable to accept the invitation to the ceremony held in New York on 2 May.
