Absent from the studios for several years, the producer Jeremy Harding and his label 2 Hard are back in force with a new reggae riddim, christened City life.

Harding made a splashy entrance into dancehall in the late 1990s, first with the Fearless riddim, but above all with the Playground in 1997, which has since become a classic. It was at that time that he took Sean Paul under his wing, as manager. Favouring quality over quantity, Jeremy Harding continued his rise in the early 2000s with the Lightning, Thunder and Liquid riddims, before putting his musical activities on hold to concentrate on Sean Paul's career.
After some work in his Jamaican studio, here he is back behind the console: Sean Paul, Queen Ifrica, Tarrus Riley and Assassin have answered the call for the City life riddim, which will soon be available as a download. And more singles from Wayne Marshall, Elephant Man and Alaine are on the way.
