A reggae specialist for Billboard magazine between 1984 and 1993, the journalist Maureen Sheridan has devoted several books to the lyrics of Bob Marley's songs. The latest, "Bob Marley, les secrets de toutes ses chansons", is once again published by Éditions Hors Collection.
Like the previous ones, this new book sets out to decode the Tuff Gong's lyrics by placing them in their political and social context and drawing on many first-hand witnesses: Bunny Wailer, Peter Tosh, Chris Blackwell, Family Man, Sly Dunbar, his manager Don Taylor and Cindy Breakspeare, the mother of Damian Marley.
