Sizzla is back with a new album, "The Scriptures" (his 65th opus, the press release says), produced by John John, one of King Jammy's sons.
"It took us a whole year to make this album, because we were looking for perfection, John John said in an interview with the Star Newspaper. Trust me, the whole world can enjoy this album".
Indeed, what we have heard suggests a return to top form for Sizzla.
A "sequel" to this collaboration with the deejay is already in the works and should be out in the coming months.
Available digitally this week, "The Scriptures" has 13 tracks, including a new featuring with the Canadian rapper Peter Jackson.
