When Energy God steals electricity

Here is a story with plenty of spice: Elephant Man is accused of stealing electricity. A fine irony for the man nicknamed Energy God…

RJR News reports that the deejay appeared in court to answer a charge of stealing electricity worth $68,000 a month (around €565 a month).

Although the police say they caught him red-handed, Elephant Man reportedly denied the accusations before finally admitting the facts.

Investigators from JPS (Jamaica Public Service) said they discovered an illegal connection at his residence in St Andrew.

He is due back in court on 30 August 2011.

C'est pas le seul a ne pas la payer! L'electricite est hors de prix en Jamaique pour des coupures continues. Je ne connais personne qui paie ses factures uptown et downtown Kingston. Et les campagnes de pub sur les bus n'y changent rien.

Euhh il y a un problème sur votre calcul il me semble. Il paye 68000 par mois ou par an ? Et mm si c'est par an cela ne fait toujours pas le compte... Resortez la calculette ^^
