This is the kind of move that stands out a little: Dubmatix has decided to offer his first album, "Champion Sound Clash", as a free download for a limited period.
Released in 2004, "Champion Sound Clash" already distilled the hallmarks of the Canadian dubmaster: modern, driving rhythms and round, punchy basslines, under a resolutely electronic tone.
Anyone can get a feel for it, as Dubmatix has made the whole of this first album available on SoundCloud. Be warned, you only have until 6 August to take advantage of his generosity.
Dubmatix will play the Summer Vibes Festival this summer, and the Festival De Marne in early October.
