Sizzla was admitted to St Ann's Bay hospital last night after a motorcycle accident.
The singer, known for his penchant for powerful bikes and speed, collided with a bus on the coastal road in Salem, near Runaway Bay, on the island's north coast. He was apparently not wearing a helmet.
Few details have so far filtered out on the extent and seriousness of his injuries, with some speaking of fractures, others of internal bleeding. All we know is that he was admitted to hospital in a serious but stable condition.
After Gyptian recently, Mavado, Buju Banton and above all Tiger, whose accident badly damaged his career, Sizzla is the latest artist in a long series to be injured on a motorbike.
