This time, there was no need to wait ten years: next month sees the release of Brahim's new album, "Sans Haine". Three years after "Toujours sur la route", this new opus, composed with Kubix, will come out on Danakil's young label, Baco Records, on 20 April 2012.
"Sans Haine" is an album that suits Brahim, a synthesis of his worlds: reggae, rock, soul and French chanson (he even covers Jacques Brel's Ne me quitte pas), with a common denominator of lyrics that are often spot on and give food for thought.
Also worth noting is the reunion of Nuttea, Pierpoljak, Merlot (Baobab) and Asha B (his cousin and partner in Wadada Sound System) on Brique après brique, which takes us back some fifteen years...
While waiting for it to hit the shops, discover the twelve tracks of "Sans Haine" with a megamix by ManuDigital.
Brahim will be on tour from April. Here are the first dates:
07/04/2012 : La Clef à St Germain en Laye (78)
27/04/2012 : Printemps de Bourges (avec Danakil) à Bourges (18)
