Commu'night are putting on a real treat on Monday 2 July at the Glazart.
For the first time, two talented namesakes will share a bill, as Barrington Levy and General Levy take the stage as part of the La Plage du Glazart festival in Paris.
The legendary Barrington will be backed by the French Roses Band to deliver a wide range of hits that have become reggae staples and even beyond, so often have his voice and punch lines been sampled. The same goes for the Londoner General Levy, who among other feats of glory performed the first worldwide jungle hit with the single Incredible.
For this one-off night, it is their exclusively reggae sets that will be on offer, in the tropical atmosphere of the Glazart, feet in the sand. For the occasion, the General will be backed by Heartical sound system; also on the bill are the Parisian of Réunionese origin Real Axe, together with the Greenleaf Sound.
