After the athletics track, the dance floor for another treble: to mark its 23rd anniversary, the Bass Odyssey sound system has invited Killamanjaro and Stone Love to play alongside it. It is a historic first, as the three sounds have never played together before.

It was Janiq Walford, the daughter of Bass Odyssey's owner, who came up with the concept and negotiated - hard - the participation of the two other legendary sound systems.
The anniversary night takes place this Friday in Salem, St Ann, the parish Bass Odyssey comes from, and will be followed next weekend by the Squingy Memorial, in honour of Squingy, the famous selector who died in 2009.
Janiq Walford does not intend to stop there and told our colleague at the Gleaner that she would like to turn the event into a sound system festival as early as next year.
