After blowing out its ten candles in public on the stage of the Cabaret Sauvage (Paris) last May with Gappy Ranks, Million Stylez, Ziggi Recado and many others, the French label Special Delivery has pressed its ten years of existence onto wax. The compilation, entitled "2001-2011 : The First Decade", comes out today and brings together some of the Parisian label's emblematic tracks.
Such as the combination of Buju Banton & Queen Omega (We are in the mood), Gentleman's Rainy Days (Storm Alarm riddim), or Capleton's Dem Doom (Judgement Time riddim).
Some tracks were already on the previous compilations, "Finest Delivery", such as Sizzla's Good over evil (Dis Ya Time riddim), already on the first volume in 2006, or Kiprich & Alpheus (Tell him the truth) and Demarco (It's ok) on the second in 2009.
Note two exclusive tracks: an acoustic version of Morgan Heritage's Have No Fear as well as Tomorrow Loves You, by Gappy Ranks.
