Three years after "Green Fa Life" (on Makafresh), Kiddus I returns with a new 13-track album entitled "Topsy Turvy World", due out on 15 February 2013.
The release of this album is already a small event in itself, as releases are rare from one of the actors in the cult film "Rockers". Recorded in Germany, this album, produced by the German label Rubin Rockers, is the fruit of two years of studio work alongside the cream of 1970s musicians: Aston "Family Man" Barrett, Tyrone Downie, Earl "Chinna" Smith, Uziah "Sticky" Thompson, Richard MacDonald, Dalton Brownie, Bongo Joe, Alphonso Craig…
The musicians of the Jin-Jin band, who played on the last two albums by Germany's Sebastian Sturm, also feature.
Apart from the covers of A Thin Line Between Love And Hate, the Persuaders classic, and of Serge Gainsbourg's Je t'aime moi non plus (which will be called Consider Me), "Topsy Turvy World" contains new tracks, such as Wild Child, the first single, out on 14 December, which you can watch in the video below.
