A newcomer to the European festival scene: the Brussels Reggae Festival will make its debut this spring in Belgium.
The event will take place on 11, 12 and 13 April at the BEB (Brussels Event Brewery), a former brewery.
The organisers have just announced the first confirmed artists: deejays Solo Banton (UK) and Skarra Mucci (JA), and the Skatalizers. The Festival's Dub Room will host Canada's Dubmatix, who will play solo (his new album is in the works) and more.
With France's Dub in VO, they will pay tribute to The Clash and their singer Joe Strummer, as they could be seen together on tour at the end of last year.
The website will be online soon. More info on the event's Facebook page.
