For the first time, Haile Selassie's autobiography, "My Life and Ethiopia's Progress, 1892-1937", is available in French.

This translation, by Pascal Mawuli Macé, was made from the English version of the text, and cross-checked against the original Amharic version. It is supplemented with annotations.
After completing the first translation from the English text in 1991, Pascal Mawuli Macé presented it to the imperial family, then in exile in London. To thank him for his work for the Crown, he received the name Mawuli in 1992.
Unable to find a publisher willing to donate part of the revenue to Ethiopian charities, Pascal Mawuli Macé decided to take care of it himself. 10% of the sale price will be donated to good causes in Ethiopia.
"My Life and Ethiopia's Progress, 1892-1937" is available at €34.99 from the record shop Oneness Records in Nantes, and on the sites www.royaltings.com and www.rootsblogreggae.com. Also available on eBay and Price Minister.
