Norrisman's new album comes out next Monday, 1 April. Titled "Much more to life", it is entirely produced by Romain "Sherkhan" Chiffre for his label Tiger Records.
It is the culmination of a collaboration begun in 2005 on the Wharfedale riddim (Trying man), which features on the album, alternating singles, some of them old, with previously unreleased tracks.
Also included are We are the people (on the Box Guitar riddim), My feelings for you (Dutty foot riddim) and Let love take control (Ol' Sitt'n riddim), released in 2007.
Add the unreleased tracks and the album is substantial: no fewer than 17 titles, complemented by 6 interludes that introduce the songs, where Sherkhan's stripped-back riddims leave room for his singing.
"Much more to life" is already available to pre-order (€8.99) on the Tiger Records site: http://tigerrecords.bandcamp.com/album/norrisman-much-more-to-life
