Almost ten years after they met, Caporal Nigga and Mickee 3000, united under the name Spyda Team, are releasing their first album.

Preceded by the net-tape "Spyda Sound System", "3000 Niggawatts" stays true to the dancehall, reggae and hip hop recipe of the arachnid combo. It will be available nationwide on 16 April.
"It's a bit like the Spyda Team's calling card over all these years, sums up Mickee 3000. We each have our own projects, and "3000 Niggawatts" brings our work together."
The debut features 17 tracks, including several combinations, with Taïro, Dry (Wati B), Daddy Mory (Raggasonic), Aidonia ("He came into the studio, it happened very simply, without overthinking it."), Siaka, Mao and Lylah (Les Déesses).
Available from 16 April 2013, "3000 Niggawatts" is produced by Caporal Nigga and Mickee 3000 on the label La Toile Productions. Several composers worked on the album: Traxx, Mao (BBC sound system), Stephen McGregor (the track Fais-nous danser, with Daddy Mory and Lylah ), Delly Ranks (Badminded), TN'T, Dj Redeyes and Demolisha.
After opening for Busy Signal in Paris last week, Caporal Nigga and Mickee 3000 will head back out on tour this summer to promote "3000 Niggawatts".
