Buju Banton will have to wait until June to find out whether he can get a new trial.

Judge James Moody has ordered the deejay and juror Terri Wright, who allegedly carried out research on the case during Buju Banton's trial in February 2011, to appear on that date. She is said to have breached the instructions given to the jury, which could lead to the trial being annulled (news of 15/10/2012).
Terri Wright was asked to hand over her laptop's hard drive to an expert hired by Buju Banton. But she allegedly handed over the hard drive from her desktop computer instead. She will therefore have to explain herself before the court on 26 June.
A new trial (the third) could emerge from this hearing if the verdict is invalidated. Buju Banton also still faces the firearms possession charge, which could add five years to his sentence.
