"Sound system", the first reggae TV film project in France, is looking for financial backing. Its two authors, Pierre Terrade and Didier Woldemard, have launched a fundraising campaign on the TousCoprod site, a crowdfunding platform.

"Sound system" tells the story of a couple made up of Rosella, a cabaret singer, and Manu, who dreams of recording a reggae album in Jamaica. When Rosella, fired, drags Manu into a robbery against her former boss, the couple, on the run, turn into Bonnie & Clyde, only clumsier.
Backed by the production company De l'autre côté du périph', the authors have also appealed to internet users on the TousCoprod platform, setting a target of €3,000, though they do not hide that they are really aiming for €20,000. Because after that they still have to convince the TV channels…
Today, the funds raised stand at €1,395, or 47% of the target.
There are 17 days left (until 23 June) to make your pledges.
