Soom T joins forces again with her fellow Scots Mungo's Hi Fi for the release of two EPs on their labels Scotch Bonnet and Scrub A Dub, on 15 July 2013.
Titled "Bong Bong" and "Listening Bug", the two EPs offer very different moods to the Scottish singer.
The first, "Bong Bong", dives into digital reggae. On the title track, Soom T and Mungo's Hi Fi revisit the famous Stalag riddim. Like an echo of "Ode To A Carrot" with Jahtari, Soom T continues her ganja chronicles with I need weed and Boom Shiva, two old odes to the plant unearthed by Mungo's Hi Fi.

The second EP, "Listening Bug", is cut from a different cloth. Minimalism, electronic sounds and masterful bass: it has the avant-garde touch of the Scots, notably on the massive "Hire & Removal Refix (feat. Eek A Mouse)", from which Soom T has no trouble drawing the best.

Finally, Scotch Bonnet is also releasing the 7" of Better World by Everton Chambers in a limited edition, on Dreadsquad's famous Bun dem riddim. The 80s singer is, incidentally, the only artist on the series to get a vinyl release, with his dub on the B-side.
