The 17th edition of Reggae Sun Ska will indeed take place on the University of Bordeaux campus, the festival confirmed in a press release today.

Reggae Sun Ska is thus leaving its historic home in the Médoc to move into the city. A "landmark turning point in its history", the press release stresses, which also reveals that in 2014 the event will run over four days: it will be held on 31 July, 1, 2 and 3 August.
The biggest festival in Aquitaine, Reggae Sun Ska is joining the programme of the Eté Métropolitain. A press conference is planned for Friday 24 January, in the presence of the presidents of the Aquitaine Regional Council, the Bordeaux Urban Community, and the universities of Bordeaux and Bordeaux 3. It will be an opportunity to discover how the festival will be laid out on the campus.
The first artists to join the line-up will be announced on that occasion, which will also see the launch of ticket sales.
