The new issue of Reggae Vibes magazine puts an end to an anomaly: since the early days of its elder sibling Ragga Mag, Alpha Blondy had never made the cover. This oddity is put right in fine style with a comprehensive look back over the Ivorian singer's 32-year career, "album by album and sleeve by sleeve" in the words of editor-in-chief Gilbert Pytel.
Also in this 35th issue, a feature on King Jammy, and interviews with Kabaka Pyramid, Clinton Fearon, Leroy Sibbles, The Gladiators, Faya Dub, Soul Stereo, Sound Dynamik, Kanka…
On the sampler CD (14 tracks): Alpha Blondy, RC, Arise Roots, Gladiators, Rod Anton, Ward 21, Tiwony, Tessanne Chin, Kanka, Faya Dub, Mr Rickyn Mardjenal, Païaka, Shane Brown.
