Who was the best reggae artist of the year: Popcaan, Tarrus Riley, Chronixx, Alkaline or Stylo G? For the MOBO Awards, held every year in England for 19 years now, it is Stylo G.

Already in the running last year (when Sean Paul took the trophy), the MOBO have thus rewarded the deejay born in Spanish Town, Jamaica, who broke through in 2011 across the Channel with Call Me A Yardie. This year, he stood out with the carnivalesque Move Back and Call Me A Leader, on a recut of Bob Marley's Could You Be Loved.
Tarrus Riley and Popcaan, already nominated last year, once again go home empty-handed, as do Alkaline and Chronixx, for whom it was a first nomination.
