Bizzarri Records' Weh Dem Fah riddim is none other than a recut of the riddim of the same name released in 1988 on Redman International.

In the midst of a digital revival, the Italian label brings it back up to date and even invites Carl Meeks (author of the eponymous big tune of the era) to join Gappy Ranks and Lion D. Also featuring Ward 21, Skarra Mucci and Raphael.

Tracklist:
01. King Kong feat. Ras Tewelde - Nah Run No Joke
02. Skarra Mucci - Come Fi Take Ova
03. Ward 21 - No Trouble We
04. G Mac - Leave Me Alone
05. Lion D feat. Gappy Ranks & Carl Meeks- Weh Dem Fah
06. Raphael - Till A Morning

In Jamaica, the lifeblood of the record industry is the riddim (from "rhythm"), an instrumental produced by a label. A label that does not settle for recording a single artist on that riddim, but as many as it can: this is what is called a "series". To make a name for itself, a label will try to get big names on its riddim. Amid the endless flow of releases, artists have every interest in voicing the most popular riddim of the moment. Every week in Jamaica, more than a hundred 7" singles are produced this way. Only later, if an artist manages to find a distributor and a record company, can they make an album, which usually gathers some of those singles.
