Light & Shadow riddim

"Conscious Music For Conscious People": that is the slogan of the Franco-Jamaican label The HandCart Market. Franco-Jamaican because the riddims are played live and recorded in Marseille by the band the HandCart, before the vocals are recorded in Jamaica.

Having worked for Linval Thompson, among others (providing the bulk of the album Ghetto Living), and composed the DST riddim (with Morgan Heritage, Fantan Mojah, Junior Kelly...), The HandCart Market announces the release of the Light & Shadow riddim.

A new-roots rhythm featuring the late Sugar Minott and Sizzla, but also young artists Keke I (JA) and Joggo (the younger brother of Clarence Seedorf, the Dutch footballer).

Available at the end of May on legal download platforms.
