Redeemer riddim

The Munich-based label Oneness Records regularly stands out for its quality releases. With its latest series, the Redeemer riddim, the label ploughs the same furrow as the Backstabber riddim in 2010 or the Soul riddim released before the summer: well-calibrated new-roots instrumentals, on which culturally conscious artists from around the world are invited.

For this vitamin-packed Redeemer riddim, the Jamaican cast is quite successful, as shown by the tracks from Junior Kelly and Lutan Fyah, who stand out with Heads up and Bag a herbs, but also Fantan Mojah and Mark Wonder and Al Pancho. Let us also mention Anthony Locks, or Naptali, who gives the series its name. Their compatriot Fyah T is also here, along with the Belgian D Ju Lion and the Peruvians Caramelo Criminal.
