Diseases Rebirth riddim

As its name suggests, the Diseases Rebith riddim is a recut of Volcano's Diseases riddim (Yellowman, Michigan & Smiley…), itself taken from Alton Ellis's Mad Mad, recorded in 1967 at Studio One.

A classic revisited here by the label Sajay, which invites among others a fired-up Sizzla, who has no trouble taming the rhythm (Sekkle Dung). Still in a minor key, Bugle also shows himself to good advantage on Same Game. Young Iba Mahr adds another good tune to his bow with Set A way, while Droop Lion, another young artist to watch, shows impressive lung power on Rock Heart.
