About this sound
The UK label Ajang returns to the shops with a new dancehall riddim that will delight fans of the genre. Entitled "Sunshine", it should land on 7" in a few days (no date announced).
It features some sacred monsters of reggae-dancehall such as Cutty Ranks (who lays down a breathtaking cut here!) and the veteran with the soulful voice in Jamaica, Jack Radics...
Among the upcoming singers, note the presence of the already noticed Tubby T, a real singer in the Waterhouse tradition, who is reminiscent of Kirk Davis (Little Kirk). The little-known but powerful Dj Sargeant D hammers the riddim here, while Ravletta, a former backing singer for Ziggy Marley, begins her solo career... In short, a bunch of artists ready to buss up dances all over
the world !
