About this sound

French label Heartical dives back into the classic riddims of Jamaican reggae. Its new series takes up the Know Myself riddim, an instrumental recorded in 1974 by BB Seaton's Conscious Minds under the name Someting New, and made popular a few years later by Ernest Wilson's killer tune, I Know Myself, at Channel One.
