About this sound
While classic dancehall riddims are being given a second youth (Baddis, Bounce, Showtime and Cordy Roy), Cordel “Scatta” Burrell has put his terrific Martial Arts, released in 2002, back on the workbench. Christened Self Defence, this new version features Elephant Man, Tony Matterhorn, Macka Diamond and above all a duet by Cecile and Lady Saw, Nah wear none.
