A year and a half after the release of the Marijuanaman comic book (on 20 April, a nod to the famous North American 420, when people gather publicly to consume cannabis, ed.), here is the first video episode of the wacky superhero created by Ziggy Marley, whose adventures were scripted by Joe Casey and drawn by Jim Mahfood.
The plot of Marijuanaman (a 48-page comic) revolves around an extraterrestrial whose home world is desperately in need of THC, and whose spaceship (shaped like a bong) has crashed on planet Earth. Marijuanaman sets off on a mission: to save our planet from the destruction of weed, orchestrated by the evil corporation Pharma-Con and its henchmen, including the motorcycle-riding robot Cash Money.
"Marijuanaman represents hope for the future... Hope that we will use all the power the universe has given us to save the planet", Bob's son confided on his website when the comic came out.
In this first video episode, the characters' voices are those of Ziggy himself and Tom Martin, co-creator of the project.
