The association Help Jamaica! is selling a 2013 calendar to fund its work. Founded in Germany in 2008, this non-profit organisation builds and supports independent educational institutions in the poorest areas of Jamaica.
The donations from sales of this new calendar will go towards the costs (purchase of equipment, salaries…) of the teaching centre set up in the Cassava Piece neighbourhood of Kingston.
This 14-page calendar, printed in A3 format in a limited edition, showcases the remarkable work of the Jamaican graphic designer Michael Thompson (a.k.a. Freestylee), founder of the Reggae Poster Contest, whose second edition recently honoured the work of the Israeli Alon Braier. Six pages of this calendar are the work of Michael Thompson, six others of the winners of the Reggae Poster Contest 2012.

The calendar can be bought from several online retailers, to be found on the association's website.
Note that Michael Thompson a.k.a. Freestylee's visual work can be seen on his Flickr account.
