Summer is approaching and, like Summerjam and Ja’Sound, each festival is starting to unveil its line-up little by little. Rototom is not short of acts, as a fine list of artists is already announced on its website. Unfortunately, there is nothing very original on the Italian side for now, since a major part of the line-up is identical to the one offered by its German counterpart.
We thus find Jah Cure, Beres Hammond, Luciano, Queen Ifrica, Tarrus Riley, Ky-mani Marley, Cocoa Tea, Lady Saw, Cecile and Alborosie, all already at Summerjam. Ken Boothe, Mykal Rose, Bushman, Junior Kelly, Alpha Blondy and Collie Buddz will act as the “exclusives”, most of whom have already been (or will be) through France. Nice, but from that point of view, Summerjam stays one step ahead.
