After a few lean years, the Garance Reggae Festival announces its best line-up in a very long time. The Parisian festival changes formula and will now run over three days in different venues across the capital. A copious programme that gives pride of place to sound systems and Jamaican veterans.

It kicks off on 31 May at the Elysée Montmarte, with Takana Zion (whose new album is expected shortly), Chezidek and Jah Mason.
On 5 June at La Grande Halle de La Villette (as part of the Kreyol Factory festival), we will see Natty (UK), Bob Andy, Ken Boothe and Finley Quaye. In the evening, at the Trabendo, it's the turn of the sound systems for an aftershow with Saxon feat. General Levy, Blackboard jungle and a few surprises, all on Blackboard Jungle's already battle-tested sound system.
The next day, 6 June, same again: Queen Omega, Don Carlos and Barrington Levy will perform at La Grande Halle de La Villette while the Trabendo hosts an explosive dub programme.
