2011 will hold a special flavour for Ziggi Recado. After releasing his third album, "Ziggi Recado", he parted ways with his longtime producer, Rock N'Vibes, who had coached him since 2005. "It became clear that our visions differed on the management of my career. Our personal relationship also deteriorated at a time when we were both going through upheavals in our private lives. After a while, I no longer felt comfortable at all," Ziggi confided.

He found refuge with the agency Herbalize it (named after the Dutch sound system of the same name), which handles his management and tours, and with Decko (Dredda Records). Fired up again, Ziggi Recado decided to release his first independent project, with a title that says a lot: "Libération". A six-track EP that is available free of charge on Ziggi Recado's website (which has been given a facelift for the occasion) for a limited time. "What I was sure of was that I wanted to give my music to the public, it became the main point of the concept. That's why this EP is free for a limited time."
A new start, resolutely turned towards the public: "I fully intend to put out more music than before, having always felt that it was a plus for me. So this will be my EP of the year, since another EP with Curtis Lynch (Necessary Mayhem) and Decko of Dredda Records is currently being recorded."
