''United We Stand'' by OBF feat. Kenny Knots
on Friday, March 16th 2012 - 4 637 views
After "Wicked Haffi Run" released in 2010, Original Bass Foundation's new 12" is available in a limited edition on OBF Records. The Savoie sound system, spearhead of stepper sound in France, offers us their powerful, committed and engaging tune "United We Stand" with Kenny Knots. Proof that French stepper has (almost) nothing to envy its old English cousin when it comes to heavy, heady dub.
For those who follow OBF, it will not be a discovery since, at a good many parties, this essential tune is their regular last tune, which has become almost an anthem for the crew. The Supa Hero Style artwork of the 12" inch, as with their previous production, recalls the sleeves that Tony Mc Dermott designed for Greensleeves.
Finally, the vinyl also features a dub version of this tune, more bewitching and hypnotic but just as powerful, as well as, on the B-side, two dub versions of another OBF classic: "Forward".
