Two years after releasing his first album, "Cry To The Nation", I-Octane is preparing his new opus.

Steadily progressing since his debut, I-Octane had a fine 2013, marked by several singles and by closing the Dancehall Night at Reggae Sumfest this summer. He has also set about making his new album.
Produced by DJ Frass, the album is billed as exclusively one-drop: "I've already recorded several songs, and I'm very excited about releasing a 100% reggae album that my fans and music lovers in general will be able to enjoy."
Unlike "Cry To The Nation", the singer explained to the Jamaica Gleaner that he had been more involved in the production of this new album: "For several years, I only put out singles. Last year I did the album 'Cry to the nation', which did quite well, and I must congratulate Robert Livingstone for that, but I wasn't able to capitalise on it. It was a great album, but I never really had control of it. This time, I'm going to take more part in the production."
Preceded by the first single, Love you like I do, the album, which does not have a title yet, is expected in early 2014. It will include features with Gentleman and Ky-Mani Marley.
