Dub Attack! is a summit meeting between Mad Professor and Prince Fatty, on tour in France. The starting point was when the English dub sorcerer Mad Prof found original recordings from his Ariwa studio. A great admirer of Mad Professor's work, Prince Fatty proposed an album and a joint tour, with the ambition of bringing back to life the English dub of the late 70s and early 80s.
While the album is not yet taking shape, the tour is well and truly in place. Classics, rarities, new Prince Fatty productions (Big Youth, Burning Spear, Winston Francis, Johnny Osbourne, Cornell Campbell, Earl 16, Marcia Griffiths, George Dekker, Dennis Alcapone...), all the tracks are reworked by the two dubmasters under the same conditions as back then, with plenty of vintage effects. Mad Professor and Prince Fatty will each play their own set, before joining forces for a final dub fi dub!
