Carlington Wilmot, a member of the team at the Jamaican site Yardflex, has been the target of threats from people said to be from the entourage of the young deejay Aidonia. The reason is said to be the broadcast on Hype TV of a piece made by Yardflex on a public spat between Idonia and the newcomer to the dancehall scene, Deva Brat. Carlington Wilmot says he was threatened by phone with having his face slashed:
"The person called to insult me and say "Carlington, you disrespected the deejay, we're going to slash your face, we told you not to say anything about the Deva Brat affair." They had already threatened me before, in an interview, when I started talking about Deva Brat. They told me that if I talked about this story, they would contact me and things would happen to me. I had asked Idonia for his comments, and he replied "No comment". They told me I shouldn't even say that he didn't want to do one."
