Veteran singer Half Pint (real name Lindon Roberts) has been officially thanked for his contribution to promoting Jamaican music and culture by the city of Hartford, Connecticut.
The trophy attesting to this distinction was presented to him in person by the city's mayor on 11 August, which was proclaimed "Half Pint Day" for the occasion. A lovely gesture for a singer who fully deserves it, but who unfortunately remains little known in France.
