Jah Cure does not please everyone
on Thursday, October 11th 2007 - 15 508 views
The arrival of Jah Cure, released this summer, is not making everyone happy in the United Kingdom . While the public is turning out (the tour is reported sold out), several associations are said to have made known their wish to prevent his concerts from going ahead. The British press reports that several women's rights groups have come forward to that effect. If their efforts to stop Jah Cure travelling to Great Britain do not bear fruit, they say they will demonstrate outside the entrance of the venue at every date.
For its part, Jah Cure's management, Danger Zone, retorts that the singer's difficulties in obtaining his visa are not due to the action of these groups: "Jah Cure is not banned from the United Kingdom. We do not know where these allegations come from, as we are in the middle of the visa application process". Jah Cure is due to play in London on 20 October, among other dates.
