David Rodigan has filled his trophy shelf a little more by winning Riddim Clash 2007, held on Saturday 20 October in Düsseldorf, Germany, in front of 2,000 fans.
Already a winner in 2006 (against Bass Odyssey and LP International), Rodigan this time faced the Germans of Sentinel and the Jamaicans of Black Scorpio. He won after an extremely tight dub fi dub against Sentinel (one of whose selectas, Mario, wore a T-shirt in tribute to Lucky Dube). It was so close that supporters of both camps had to gather together on either side of the hall to pick the winner.
